ON-GUARD SMS PRIVACY POLICY

On-Guard Visitor Access (“On-Guard”) is a visitor management service owned and operated by System Design Wizards. This SMS Privacy Policy describes how System Design Wizards and On-Guard collect, use, and protect information associated with the On-Guard SMS messaging service.
1. Information We Collect
When a resident voluntarily enrolls in On-Guard SMS notifications, we may collect the resident’s name, mobile telephone number, residential community information, visitor-access information, SMS opt-in status, and information necessary to provide visitor-management and related communications.
2. How We Use Information
Information collected through the On-Guard SMS service is used to provide transactional communications associated with the On-Guard Visitor Access system. These communications may include visitor arrival notifications, visitor-access confirmations, visitor-related notifications, and other communications necessary to operate or support the visitor-access service.
On-Guard SMS messages are not intended for advertising or promotional marketing.
3. SMS Consent
Participation in the On-Guard SMS service is voluntary. Residents must affirmatively opt in to receive SMS messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply according to the resident’s wireless carrier and service plan.
4. Sharing of Mobile Information and SMS Consent
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be provided to service providers when reasonably necessary to deliver and operate the SMS service, subject to appropriate restrictions on the use of that information.
SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Opting Out
Residents may withdraw consent to receive SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to an On-Guard SMS message.
After an opt-out request is processed, the resident will no longer receive SMS messages from the applicable On-Guard messaging program unless the resident subsequently opts in again.
6. Help
Residents may reply HELP to an On-Guard SMS message for assistance. Residents may also contact their community management or the On-Guard support contact provided by their residential community.
7. Data Security
System Design Wizards and On-Guard take reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Data Retention
Information associated with the SMS service may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the On-Guard Visitor Access service, maintain appropriate business and consent records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
9. Children’s Privacy
The On-Guard SMS service is intended for residents and other authorized users of participating residential communities and is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
System Design Wizards may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. Any revised policy will be posted with an updated effective date.
